Servicing the needs of local communities and tradesmen.

How it works
Whether you are a tradesman or someone just clearing a house, a garage, or just have scrap metal lying around, John Lawrie Metals are able to accept this at all of our licences sites and will pay directly into your account.
All of our sites have dedicated areas for offload, and experienced teams will walk you through our simple process to get you registered, offloaded and paid for the scrap you deliver.
FAQ
Yes, our experienced and friendly team will assist with offloading your material and look after you while you are on site.
The first time you visit, you need to bring two forms of ID – driving licence, a valid British Passport and a copy of a bank card or bank statement. Our team will help you complete the necessary documents to get your account set up. When you arrive next time, we’ll complete a quick check of your documents and send you round for offloading.
Since 1st September 2016, the law had prevented cash payment for scrap.
The money we pay you for your scrap is transferred directly from us into your bank account within 24 hours.
