Recent Project: Bridge of Don Training Rig

Many of you may have noticed there’s something missing from the skyline over at Bridge of Don!

Visible from across Aberdeen, the old training rig was safely dismantled in just NINE days, and has already been processed and sent to the final recycling site. As well as recycling materials, a number of components were removed and set aside for re-use or repurposing.

John Lawrie Metals were contracted by AM SciTech to plan and execute the safe removal of the old training rig which has been sitting up at the Bridge of Don Technology Park site since 1990.
